TARGET AUDIENCE
This qualification is geared toward individualities within and or entering the apparel manufacturing sector. This qualification provides the learner with availability to be employed in manufacturing processes. The qualification reflects the requirements of colorful community- grounded enterprise within the sector
MINIMUM CONDITIONS
This qualification is applicable to people within the apparel sector. This qualification will help prepare learners for employment and farther education or training. This qualification will allow a learner to gain a nationally recognised qualification in apparel manufacturing processes.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Whilst there’s open access to the qualification, It’s assumed that learners are formerly competent at Communication and Numeracy at ABET position 3( original to Standard 5 or Grade 7). This qualification may be achieved in part or in whole through the recognition of previous literacy, which includes formal, informal andnon-formal literacy and work experience. Learners who have achieved a Grade 9 School Leaving Certificate with English and Mathematics( Mathematical knowledge) will be exempted from these abecedarian literacy modules through recognition of previous literacy
LITERACY ISSUES
